Give your son a life-changing experience this summer. The Buddhist Novice Ordination Programme offers boys the rare opportunity to step away from daily life and immerse themselves in the monastic tradition — learning mindfulness, discipline, and the core teachings of Buddhism, guided by experienced monks in a supportive community.
This is more than a summer activity. It's a chance to build character, cultivate inner calm, and carry lifelong values of kindness and self-discipline into adulthood.
Experience Monastic Life — Live as a novice monk, following the daily routine and traditions of temple life
Develop Mindfulness — Learn meditation techniques to build focus, calm, and self-awareness
Learn Buddhist Teachings — Study core Dhamma principles in a way that's accessible and meaningful for young minds
Cultivate Kindness and Discipline — Build character through structured practice, community living, and service

Every activity throughout the programme is built around three pillars:
Discipline — daily routines, precepts, and monastic conduct that build structure and self-control
Wisdom — Dhamma study sessions that make Buddhist teachings clear and relevant
Inner Peace — guided meditation practice to develop calm, focus, and emotional resilience
